Through multidisciplinary coordination and standardization of protocols, these centers aim to raise the level of care and train new generations of specialists. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Center of Excellence Bucharest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Associated institutions:<\/strong> the Central Military Emergency Hospital &#8220;Dr. Carol Davila&#8221; and university collaborations. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Coordination:<\/strong> Prof. Dr. Maria Doroban\u021bu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The team:<\/strong> experienced cardiologists involved in the diagnosis and management of resistant hypertension, secondary causes and innovative methods (e.g. renal denervation).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Research topics:<\/strong> hypertension in young people, prevention of complications, risk stratification, cardiopulmonary exercise testing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Objectives:<\/strong> strengthening standard protocols, developing clinical research and training young specialists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Targu Mures Center of Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Associated institutions:<\/strong> the &#8220;George Emil Palade&#8221; University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology and the County Emergency Clinical Hospital of Targu Mures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Team<\/strong>: most members of the national hypertension network are concentrated here \u2013 Prof. Dr. Benedek Imre, Head of Department Dr. Monica Chi\u021bu, Head of Department Dr. Istvan Kovacs, Head of Department Dr. Nora Rat, Dr. Ciprian Blendea, Dr. Balazs Bajka, Assistant Prof. Dr. Ioana Patricia Rodean, Head of Department Dr. Vasile Bogdan Hala\u021biu.      <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Activity:<\/strong> this core functions as the main research and education center, providing national support for clinical trials, registries and training of young specialists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Iasi Center of Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Associated institution:<\/strong> Hospital &#8220;Dr. C. I. Parhon&#8221; Ia\u0219i. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Coordinator:<\/strong> Prof. Dr. Adrian Covic, a leading personality in nephrology and hypertension.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Role<\/strong>: The center in Ia\u0219i specializes in managing hypertension in patients with chronic kidney disease and risk stratification in patients with multiple comorbidities. It also makes a major contribution to the integration of international protocols into national practice. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Strategic objectives of the national network<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Standardization of protocols for the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating a<strong> national platform<\/strong> for managing hypertensive patients, which would bring together clinical data from all centers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of a <strong>national register<\/strong> and active participation in European registers and studies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expanding interdisciplinary collaborations (cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, internal medicine).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Train a new generation of specialists capable of continuing these programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implementarea unor campanii de preven\u021bie \u0219i con\u0219tientizare la nivel popula\u021bional.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The centers of excellence in hypertension in Romania &#8211; Bucharest, T\u00e2rgu Mure\u0219 and Ia\u0219i &#8211; together form a strategic network for combating hypertension, providing both clinical expertise and research as well as an educational framework for specialists.
